My name is Patrick and I am a working class writer and director from Bradford, focused on creating narratives which are meaningful and aim to represent my beliefs and ideals. I am interested in representing issues which are significant to me such as mental health, social issues and class divide, whilst also balancing my storytelling with humour and tragedy.

Epilogue For December
Epilogue For December was the first short film I created which premiered at TheLight cinema in Bradford alongside Haider Mahboob's, An Eye For An Eye.

The twenty-third of December. Two days before Christmas. Whilst shopping for presents, Johnny and Mia, two previous friends in another lifetime, happen to run into each other. They spend the next couple of hours in each others company, learning about their current predicaments and perspectives on life whilst working through shared traumas and coming to terms with a terrible death and processing the grief that follows.

Epilogue For December was a production comprised entirely of future Toothless Films members. The short film was written, directed, edited by and starred myself as one of two main characters. Sarah Derrick starred as the other protagonist, Haider Mahboob and Armaan Ali were cinematographers, Louie Haslam-Chance was in charge of sound and Finlay MacTaggart composed the soundtrack.

The Bombs Are Dropping!!!
The Bombs Are Dropping!!! is my second short film, written, directed and edited by myself and is currently in production. The Bombs Are Dropping!!! is a dark comedy starring actor, Wenbin Guo in the main role as Monty.

Monty is a man who has not felt anything in a long time. When Monty discovers that World War Three is imminent and he has only an hour to live, Monty decides to do everything on his list of desires that he was never able to do. This includes, calling the woman he works with and admitting he loves her, wearing a crop top, crashing a car at top speed and ordering a Fillet O' Fish from McDonalds.
